The Founders Award was awarded to Alan Rose, CEO and co-founder of Rose Pallet and founder of Rose Paving , for embodying the spirit of the six founders of The Cancer Support Center. As an Olympia Fields native and 11 year cancer survivor, Rose has made a committee to the Chicago southland area and supporting those living with cancer a high priority in his life.
The Cancer Support Center gives strength, guidance and support to anyone living with a cancer diagnosis, as well as to their loved ones. The Center is a community-based, volunteer-driven, donor-supported organization. The Center has two locations, one in Mokena at 19657 S. LaGrange Road, Mokena, Illinois 60448, and one in Homewood at 2028 Elm Road, Homewood, Illinois 60430.
